The Chairman of the Oyo State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, has expressed the board’s appreciation for the active involvement and efforts of the Permanent Secretarie, Directors, and Heads of Departments in a “robust, thoughtful team deliberation” held.
Despite the “long strategic and productive hours spent together as leaders from different facilities,” Dr. Fagbemi reiterated the board’s hope that the participants would continue to implement and maintain the “Omitutun 2.0 sustainable development vision” championed by the state’s governor, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde.
The chair acknowledged the physical and emotional demands on the healthcare professionals, stating that the board’s appreciation for their “efforts and relentless sacrifices” is crucial, especially during this challenging period.
Dr. Fagbemi emphasized that the board will never take the staff for granted and is committed to supporting and standing by them to ensure a “disciplined, sustainable, business-friendly healthcare delivery” across all facilities in the state.
The board chair praised the healthcare workers’ “proactive efforts and commitments” towards ensuring successful and productive healthcare deliverables, good governance in facility management, fostering positive and sustainable changes in health services, and continuous monitoring and evaluation of their performance.
He assured the staff that their contributions will not go unnoticed by the management.
Fagbemi said: “Regardless of how physically strong or emotionally tough you are, showing you how much we appreciate your efforts and relentless sacrifices goes a long way especially during this period.”
“We are never going to take you for granted but ever ready, willing to support and also stand by you at all times in ensuring a disciplined, sustainable, business-friendly health care delivery in all our facilities in the state.”
“Your proactive efforts and commitments towards ensuring a successful and productive health care deliverables, good governmance in the management of our facilities, fostering a positive and sustainable change in our health services, social and behavioral changes among staff and continous monitoring and evaluation of our deliverables will not go unnoticed by the management.”
Furthermore, Dr. Fagbemi reiterated the board’s commitment to ensuring better and more sustainable staff welfare, including a friendly and conducive working environment, as envisioned by Governor Makinde.
