Dr. Amuda Hafeez (Kingsway) Launches 1st Ever Akinyele LG U-17 Female Football Competition

In a groundbreaking move to promote grassroots sports development and female empowerment, Dr. Amuda Hafeez (Kingsway) has unveiled the 1st of its kind Akinyele Local Government Under-17 Female Football Competition.

The historic tournament, which promises to inspire young female athletes and boost local talent discovery, will kick off on November 16, 2025, with registration beginning on November 1, 2025. Notably, participation is free, ensuring inclusivity and wider opportunities for young girls across the local government area.

The initiative, according to Dr. Hafeez, is aimed at encouraging youth engagement, fostering community unity, and creating a platform for aspiring female footballers to showcase their skills.

The competition is expected to attract significant attention from sports enthusiasts, community leaders, and football stakeholders, as it marks a new dawn for female football development in Akinyele LG.

Beyond his passion for sports and youth development, Dr. Amuda Hafeez (Kingsway) is a rising star in Akinyele and hopeful for the Oyo State House of Assembly in 2027.
