…As OYSHMB applauds dedication of medical staff in Tede, Ago-Are, and Sepeteri General Hospitals, pledges continued government support for improved healthcare delivery.
The Chairman of the Oyo State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, has commended the dedication and professionalism of healthcare workers in the Oke-Ogun axis during his recent monitoring visits to General Hospitals across the region.
Speaking during the visit to General Hospital, Tede, Dr. Fagbemi expressed satisfaction with the progress made at the facility.
“We are pleased with the progress recorded at General Hospital, Tede,” he said.
“The hospital is well-equipped and meets our operational standards. I commend Dr. Salau Adesina and his team for their hard work and dedication to providing quality healthcare services to the people.”
He encouraged the staff to sustain their commitment to excellence and assured them of continued support from the board.
At General Hospital, Ago-Are (Ago Amodu), the Chairman also lauded the efforts of the hospital’s management team led by Dr. Omiesan, noting that their dedication to service delivery was commendable.
“We are impressed with the good work being done here. The commitment of the staff is evident, and the Board will continue to provide the necessary support, especially in the area of improving security within the hospital environment,” Dr. Fagbemi added.
The monitoring team also visited General Hospital, Sepeteri, where the Chairman commended Matron Akinloye, the Head Nurse, for her effective leadership and dedication to duty.
“Matron Akinloye and her team are doing an excellent job ensuring smooth operations in the facility. We appreciate their hard work and assure them that their requests for support to enhance service delivery will be addressed,” he stated.
Dr. Fagbemi emphasized that the ongoing monitoring visits across Oyo State are aimed at assessing service delivery, identifying challenges, and providing necessary interventions to ensure the provision of quality healthcare to residents.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the Oyo State Government under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde to strengthening the state’s healthcare system and ensuring accessible, affordable, and quality medical services for all citizens.
