The All Progressives Congress APC Ido local government Oyo State has congratulated members, residents and beyond on Democracy Day celebration.
The Party felicitate with the good people of Ido local government on the occasion of this year’s Democracy Day, urging them to work towards a harmonious and inclusive society, also called on Nigerians to reflect on the significance of the day in the nation’s political history.
As we celebrate Democracy Day, the Party wish to extend warm felicitations to all Nigerians, particularly the good people of Ido local government and Oyo state.
Today, we commemorate the triumph of democratic principles and the resilience of our nation’s democratic journey.
“Today June 12, we celebrate a significant milestone in our nation’s history. Twenty-six years of democracy have brought us to this point, and commend the resilience and determination of Nigerians in the face of challenges.
As we commemorate this day, we are urge to join in supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed
“As a citizen, let us reflect on the progress we have made and the challenges we’ve overcome. Our democracy has provided opportunities for growth, development, and civic engagement.
However, we must continue to strengthen our institutions, promote transparency, and uphold the rule of law, also commend the security agencies for their tireless efforts to maintain peace and stability”
The Party enjoined citizens always strive to ensure economic prosperity and a conducive secured environment for people to express their potentials, especially at the grassroots level for opportunities because many of these ethnic and religious problems are products of economic tensions.
What is expected is that all hands should be on deck to build a Nigeria of our collective dream where freedom, peace and unity abound, and where the labour of our heroes past, shall never be in vain.
The Party in Ido local government urge all citizens to remain vigilant and committed to democratic values and work together to build a more prosperous nation.
