Hon. Adedeji Kazeem (OJASOWO) has called on the people to support the continuity of development and good governance as Oyo State prepares for a new phase of progress under Omituntun 3.0.

According to him, the gains recorded under the Omituntun agenda must not only be protected but also strengthened and expanded to touch more lives across communities, wards, and local governments. He stressed that sustainable development thrives best when policies, programmes, and people-centered reforms are allowed to mature and deliver long-term impact.

“Omituntun has redefined governance in Oyo State through transparency, accountability, infrastructural renewal, improved education, accessible healthcare, youth empowerment, and economic inclusion. The next phase, Omituntun 3.0, must build on these solid foundations to deepen development and bring governance even closer to the grassroots,” OJASOWO stated.

Hon. Kazeem noted that his vision for Omituntun 3.0 is anchored on three critical pillars:

1. Sustained Infrastructure Development – Continuation of road construction, water projects, and urban renewal to boost commerce and improve quality of life.

2. Human Capital Development – Increased investment in education, skills acquisition, youth and sport empowerment(discovery of young talented footballers within the Ibadan South East and its environ), healthcare delivery, and social welfare programmes for the vulnerable.

3. Economic and Job Creation – Supporting small and medium enterprises, encouraging local industries, promoting agriculture, and creating an enabling environment for investors.

He further emphasized the importance of good governance, noting that development can only be meaningful when driven by integrity, inclusiveness, and responsiveness to the needs of the people.

“Omituntun 3.0 is not just a slogan; it is a commitment to do more, serve better, and leave a stronger legacy of development for future generations,” he said.

Hon. Adedeji Kazeem (OJASOWO) therefore urged all well-meaning citizens, stakeholders, and party faithful to rally behind the vision of continuity in development and good governance, adding that together, the people can secure a more prosperous, peaceful, and progressive Oyo State.

“Let’s support continuity in development and good governance.

Omituntun 3.0 is the goal.”

— Hon. Adedeji Kazeem (OJASOWO
