Community Appreciates Adeojo’s Kindly Gesture Over Support On Road Rehabilitation

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has extended his hands of fellowship to the ongoing road rehabilitation at Ekerin Estate in the Ido Local Government area with the sum of five hundred thousand nairas.

The chairman of the Ekerin Estate Road Rehabilitation Committee, Alhaji Abubakar Adam Babayaro expressed the community’s delight over the sum of five hundred thousand naira donated by the executive chairman of Ido Local Government to support the ongoing road project within the community.

While eulogizing the council boss for the surprise donation while in the area to attend the community’s annual Ramadan lecture where he got a hint about the road rehabilitation embarked upon by the community.

The chairman of the Ekerin Estate Road Committee said the donation was a big surprise to him and the entire community to have given the whopping sum without prior knowledge about the project.

Abubakar Adam Babayaro said the community was amazed at the chairman’s support to the community, which will assist a lot in completing the ongoing road rehabilitation.

Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo commended the leadership of the Ekerin Estate for embarking on the road rehabilitation, not minding the amount that will be contributed by each landlord within the community.

The council chairman said there would be all-round development if other communities could take a cue from the selfless move demonstrated by the leadership of the Ekerin Estate community, the move which was supported by the other landlords in the area.

The Chief imam of the Ekerin Muslim community, Alhaji Nafiu Agbalaya, used the occasion of Ramadan to offer a special prayer for Hon. Sheriff Adeojo to make headway in his administration commitments.

The chairman of the Ekerin Muslim community, Alhaji Rasheed Lawal, appreciated the Ido Council chairman for making his impact felt in all nooks and crannies of Ido Local Government and wishes him a more juicy position after the expiration of his tenure as the council chairman.
