Oyo State Government through Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced a call for applications for a female coach to lead the newly selected team, Pacesetter Queens, as the state’s female football team.

According to a statement released by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, the ideal candidate should possess a minimum of a coaching license or its equivalent, as well as experience coaching female football teams.

The Pacesetter Queens were recently selected through a rigorous screening process, and the state government is committed to providing the team with the best possible coaching and support to ensure their success.

“We are committed to promoting female football in Oyo State, and we believe that hiring a qualified female coach is an important step in achieving this goal,” said the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Wasilat Adegoke.

Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their applications, including their coaching certifications, experience, and a detailed coaching philosophy, to the Oyo State Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.

The Oyo State Government is committed to providing equal opportunities for female athletes and promoting the development of female football in the state.
