Children’s Day: “You Are The foundation Of Every Great society” – Oyo Lawmaker, Hon. Babajide Gabriel Celebrates Children

As Nigeria commemorates Children’s Day, the Honourable Member representing Ibadan North Constituency 2 in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, has extended his heartfelt greetings to children across Ibadan North, Oyo State, and the country at large.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Hon. Babajide described children as the “foundation of every great society” and emphasized the need to invest in their future through education, moral development, and access to basic amenities.

“Children represent the purest form of hope and potential.

As leaders of tomorrow, they deserve a nurturing environment that empowers them to dream, grow, and succeed,” he said.

The lawmaker stressed the importance of government and community involvement in raising a generation that is knowledgeable, confident, and prepared for global challenges.

He also pledged to continue championing youth-centered legislation in the Oyo State House of Assembly.

“As a representative of the people, I remain committed to policies and initiatives that promote quality education, youth development, and child welfare.

Every child, regardless of background, deserves equal opportunity to thrive,” he added.

Hon. Babajide Gabriel urged parents and guardians to instill strong values in their children while calling on stakeholders to support platforms that amplify children’s voices and creativity.
