Chieftaincy Tittle: Oyo Deputy Governor Eulogies Dawud Akinola Aare Musulumi’s Virtues

Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barrister Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal has congratulated His Eminence Alh Dawud Makanjuola Akinola; Aare Musulumi Of Yorubaland, Edo & Delta States & His Wife, Her Eminence Alhaja Mariam Olubukola Akinola both of whom will be Installed Monday March 4th, as Aare and Yeye Aare of Ibadanland by the Olubadan of Ibadanland His Imperial Majesty Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun for their landmark achievements.

In a congratulatory message signed by the Deputy Governor, he said the chieftaincy titles conferred on the business tycoon and his wife were well deserved.

He described it as a reward for their contribution to the development of Ibadanland and Oyo State.

Lawal further stated: “It is my distinct pleasure to rejoice with you and your dear wife on your installation as Aare of Ibadanland and your lovely wife as Yeye Aare of Ibadanland respectively. This auspicious occasion has further confirmed your position as a highly respected personality not only in Oyo state, but in the country.

“No doubt, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun must have singled both of you out for these honours because of your modest but uncommon contribution to the development and growth of Ibadanland.

“Aside you been the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta your exploits in the area of business cum philanthropy in Ibadanland, Oyo state and Nigeria are quite commendable.”

Lawal, prayed that this title will further spur Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola to do more for his homeland and country at large.

“You remain a shining example and examplary individual worthy of the recognition bestowed on you and I believe this honour as the ‘ Aare of Ibadanland ’ will further propel you to do more for Ibadanland,Oyo State, Nigeria and indeed humanity.”
