The Executive Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Honorable Taiwo Lekan Salami, has thrown his full weight behind the candidacy of Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DON) for the upcoming August 16 by-election in Oyo State.

Hon. Salami made the declaration during a strategic meeting with members of Team TALSCO, where he commended the political sagacity of Governor Seyi Makinde in piloting a smooth and rancour-free process that led to the emergence of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidates for the polls.

Describing the selection process as “top-notch and devoid of crisis,” the 3SC boss applauded Governor Makinde’s leadership dexterity and deep understanding of grassroots politics, noting that such qualities have continued to foster unity and stability within the party.

Expressing his unflinching support for Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON, the PDP flagbearer, Hon. Salami urged all members of Team TALSCO to swing into full campaign mode and work tirelessly to secure victory at the polls.

“I strongly believe in the competence, loyalty, and grassroots appeal of Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON. He represents the future we want, and I am fully behind his candidacy,” he said.

“I am calling on every loyal member of our team to take the campaign to every household. Let the people know we are presenting the best candidate for effective representation,” he charged.

The meeting ended on a high note with assurances of commitment from members to deliver a resounding victory for the PDP at the polls.
