The former presidential spokesman said some Nigerian hospitals lacked the facilities and expertise needed for the ex-president’s treatment.

Former presidential spokesman Femi Adesina has said that his former principal, Muhammadu Buhari, could have been long dead if he had used Nigerian hospitals.

Adesina, who was a guest during Channels Television‘s special coverage for Buhari’s funeral on Tuesday, said those who criticised the death of Buhari in a London hospital should understand that the former president had always used London hospitals before he was elected president in May 2015.

Adesina said some Nigerian hospitals lacked the facilities and expertise needed for the ex-president’s treatment
