The political crisis in Rivers State took a dramatic turn today as the State House of Assembly passed the second reading of Governor Sim Fubara’s impeachment. However, the session was thrown into turmoil when unidentified thugs stormed the chamber, forcefully whisking away the Speaker to an unknown destination.
Meanwhile, former Governor and current Minister, Nyesom Wike, has accused Fubara of masterminding the impeachment process. In a fiery statement, Wike declared, “I brought you to power with blood, and I will take you out with blood.”
Tensions continue to escalate as the political battle in Rivers State reaches a boiling point.
