In a landmark move to strengthen unity and deepen collaboration within the legislative arm of government, the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, has presented an official car to the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Abolade Femi “Yerima”, alongside an 18-seater bus for the Councillors.
According to a press statement signed by the Chairman’s Press Secretary, Mr. Rahmon Alawode, the gesture aligns with the NEW ERA Agenda of Dr. GLORIOUS, which prioritizes effective governance, inclusive partnership, and improved welfare for public officeholders.
Speaking during the official handover, Dr. GLORIOUS reaffirmed his commitment to building a rancor-free administration, in line with the governance style of his mentor, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
> “My focus is to ensure harmony between the executive and legislative arms of government. This is essential for meaningful development in Ona Ara Local Government. I urge our councillors to continue legislating impactful laws that will positively transform the lives of our people,” he said.
The historic presentation was witnessed by the Vice Chairman and Political Head of INUKAN LCDA, Hon. Windapo Oluwole; Chief of Staff, Hon. Isiaka Arinola; Head of Local Government Administration, Alhaja Ojewumi; as well as Directors, Councillors, Supervisory Councillors, Special Assistants, and other dignitaries.
This latest move further demonstrates Dr. GLORIOUS’ unwavering dedication to strengthening institutions and creating an enabling environment for sustainable grassroots development in Ona Ara Local Government.
