Tension has gripped the Ajiran community in Agungi, Lekki, Lagos State, after gunmen killed Demola, the son of the Ojomu of Ajiran land, Tijani Akinloye. The prince was brutally murdered on Monday along Chevron Drive, near Ebano Supermarket.
Eyewitnesses said four armed men in a white mini bus attacked and killed the prince, sparking widespread fear and panic in the community. The incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of residents in the area.
The Lagos State Police Command has launched an investigation into the matter, with the spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirming that the prince was shot and stabbed to death. The police have recovered one ex
panded cartridge from the scene and transferred the case to the SCIID Panti, Yaba, for further investigation.
The community is in shock, with many residents fleeing the area in fear of their lives. The management of a local estate has warned residents to avoid the Chevron, Agungi, and Ajiran areas until further notice.
