In a stunning development, Rashidi Ladoja, ex-governor of Oyo State and Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, has finally caved agreed to wear the controversial beaded crown. Eaglessightnews authoritatively reports.
Ladoja made the surprise announcement on Fresh 105.9 FM’s Agbami Oselu program on Sunday morning.
The recent development ends years of resistance against the Olubadan reform.
The former governor, next in line to the throne, had fiercely opposed the reform initiated by late governor Abiola Ajimobi as continued by his successor, governor Seyi Makinde.
