Oyo-born youth advocate and cultural promoter, Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon Akintunde, has been officially inaugurated as the National Coordinator of the Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide (YCYW) during the 7th Edition of the World Omoluabi Festival held at the Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The colorful event witnessed the presentation of certificates to newly appointed national executives by the Global President of the Yoruba Council Worldwide (YCW), Aare (Oba) Oladotun Hassan Esq., who charged the appointees to remain committed to the promotion of Yoruba traditional values, ethics, and heritage across the globe.
In his remarks, Aare Oladotun Hassan emphasized the need for youth leaders to uphold the virtues of Omoluabi and become worthy ambassadors of the Yoruba race through integrity, diligence, and cultural pride.

Other National Executives Inaugurated Include: Deputy National Coordinator – Omoluabi Sunday Adebowale, General Secretary – Omoluabi Patriot Olufowobi, Publicity Secretary – Ogbeni Ajibode Abd’kabir, Treasurer – Omoluabi Blessing Oyefeso, Director of Legal Affairs – Barr. Deji Folson, Director of Welfare – Omidan Abimbola Fakayode, Organising Secretary – Omoluabi Qazeem, Director of Socials – Emmanuel Lagos, Director of Traditions and Culture – Aare Samuel Ibikunle Arugboboisi, Director of Contact and Mobilisation – Omoluabi Yasir, Director of Students – Omoluabi Adegoke Ridwan

The Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide (YCYW) continues to stand as a frontline Pan-Yoruba youth movement committed to cultural reawakening, leadership development, and youth empowerment across Yoruba-speaking communities worldwide.

With the emergence of Asoju Odo Alawode as National Coordinator, observers across the sociocultural spectrum expect renewed vibrancy and unified advocacy within the youth wing of the Council.
