Adebayo Olugbenga Adedamola has emerged as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
Adedamola secured 919 votes to clinch the ticket at the party’s primary held on Tuesday at Adolak Hall in Osogbo.
His victory came after Ademola Adeleke, whose name had initially been listed for the contest, formally resigned from the PDP ahead of the exercise.
