In a bold and strategic move, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan has officially confirmed the appointment of Coach Nurudeen Aweroro as the new head coach of the team. Aweroro, who was until recently the head coach of Ikorodu City FC, has completed all necessary formalities and is set to take charge of the Oluyole Warriors immediately.
His appointment follows the recent exit of Coach Gbenga Ogunbote, with the club moving swiftly to secure a new technical lead as part of its ongoing restructuring process.
Coach Aweroro has already arrived in Ibadan and has been briefed to resume duties without delay. The management of 3SC expressed confidence in his ability to steer the team toward a new era of success, citing his track record, tactical depth, and passion for developing homegrown talent.
On the official Facebook of shooting stars fc, the new head coach was seen approaching the main bowl of the Lekan Salami stadium from the tunnel with a caption expressing his arrival to the football club.
