Bodija Explosion: Oyo Lawmaker, Mabaje, Sympathizes With Residents Over Loss Of Lives, Damaged Properties •Commends Gov Makinde on Prompt Response.

Hon Razaq Mabaje, member representative IDO LOCAL GOVERNMENT State Constituency has sympathized with the Gov of Oyo State,His Excellency Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde and the people of Oyo State on the recent explosion at Bodija area of Ibadan city.

The Chairman, House Committee on Commerce and Trades investment expressed shock and called for calm as Governor Seyi Makinde took drastic measures to avert reoccurrence in the State.

Mabaje said: “It is with shock and sadness that I received the news of the explosion incident, which claimed the lives of some residents and got many injured on Oyeleye Street in Adeyi Avenue area of Ibadan.

“I am particularly impressed by the action of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, who ensured there was immediate intervention by deploying all relevant and security agencies within the state to carry out comprehensive search and rescue operations as touching the incident.”

Mabaje sympathized with the family of those who lost their lives and pray for those injured for quick recovery.

He therefore urged the good People of Oyo State to be security conscious and vigilant as they carry out their lawful businesses.

“Therefore, I pray that their souls rest in peace and God gives the mourning families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“Also, I wish the injured victims fast recuperation, and it is my hope that an incident like this does not occur again in this city,” he stated.
