A popular Oyo Princess and renowned market leader Princess Afolashade Abeo Nurudeen has showered glowing tributes on her very own Oyo born Professor Musibau Adetunji Babatunde, the Secretary to the Oyo State Government, , describing him as a disciplined administrator contributing to the development of Oyo State.
Princess Nurudeen who is also MD/CEO of Ur’Image Couture lauded Prof. Babatunde’s unwavering commitment to public service, academic excellence, and transparent governance.
She noted that his journey through the corridors of academia and governance reflects years of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication to the collective good of the state. Prof Musibau was also once a commissioner for budget and physical planning in Oyo State.
According to her, Prof. Babatunde’s contributions to policy coordination and effective implementation of government programmes have significantly strengthened institutional processes within the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde.
“Your life exemplifies diligence, loyalty, and purposeful leadership. As a core Oyo born, you have consistently demonstrated competence and integrity in every responsibility entrusted to you. Truly, you have paid your dues and earned the respect and admiration of many across Oyo State,” she stated.
Princess Abeo further commended the Oyo Born SSG for his humility and accessibility, describing him as a bridge-builder whose wisdom and calm disposition continue to inspire younger generations in public service.
She prayed for long life, renewed strength, and greater accomplishments for Prof. Babatunde, expressing confidence that his wealth of experience would continue to advance good governance and sustainable development in Oyo State.
