The Honourable member representing the good people of Ibadan North East Constituency 1, at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Dr. Abiodun Babalola (Integrity), has warmly felicitated with Alhaji Sheikh Mojeed Olanase, the Chief Imam of Omituntun Mosque, on the joyous occasion of his birthday celebration.
> In a heartfelt goodwill message released from his office, Hon. Abiodun Babalola Ph.D ( INTEGRITY ) described the celebrant as more than a childhood friend and trusted political ally, but as an epitome of loyalty, particularly noting his steadfast and resolute dedication to His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, and the Omituntun agenda.
Hon. Babalola Ph.D Integrity said: “Alhaji Mojeed Olanase is not just a friend but a brother whom I have known since our formative years. He is a pillar of truth and strength, whose character has remained consistent through the seasons of life. His resolute loyalty and commitment to our leader, His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde, and to the sustainable development of Oyo State is truly commendable and worthy of emulation.”
> The lawmaker further emphasized that the Chief Imam embodies the virtues of integrity, consistency, dedication, and selfless service, which are increasingly rare in contemporary society. “In an era where loyalty is often transactional and commitment fleeting, Alhaji Olanase stands as a beacon of what true dedication looks like. His support for Governor Makinde’s administration has been resolute from the beginning, and his counsel has proven invaluable to our collective progress,” Dr. Babalola added.
As the Chief Imam of Omituntun Mosque, Alhaji Olanase has distinguished himself as a religious leader who bridges divides and promotes peaceful coexistence among diverse communities. His leadership at the mosque has fostered spiritual growth, moral guidance, and community development initiatives that have positively impacted countless lives across Oyo State.

In his prayers for the celebrant, Dr. Babalola invoked the Almighty’s continuous blessings upon the Chief Imam, asking for long life, robust health, prosperity, wisdom, and divine protection to continue his noble service to both the Islamic Ummah and Oyo State at large.
> “On this special day, I pray that Allah (SWT) will grant you many more years in good health and sound mind. May He continue to elevate you, grant you the strength to continue your good work, and may your household continue to experience peace, progress, and prosperity. May all your heart desires that align with divine will come to fruition,” the lawmaker prayed.
The former Chairman of Ibadan East Development Area , Engr. Babalola concluded by expressing absolute confidence that Alhaji Olanase’s best years are still ahead, and that his contributions to the progress of Oyo State and the success of the Makinde administration will continue to yield abundant fruits for generations to come.
The Distinguished Honourable member used the occasion to call on other political associates and community leaders to emulate the Chief Imam’s example of loyalty, integrity, and commitment to collective progress. “As we celebrate this great son of Oyo State, let us all be reminded that true leadership is measured not by personal gain but by the positive impact we make in the lives of others and our resolute commitment to noble causes,” Dr. Babalola stated.
