The lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 2 in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, has sent a warm and affectionate birthday greeting to one of Oyo PDP’s most prominent figures, Chief Benedict Akika, the Agbaakin of Olorunda Aaba, describing him as his blood, brother, and a true friend.
In a heartfelt message made available to journalists on Tuesday, Hon. Babajide Gabriel spoke glowingly of the celebrant, applauding his loyalty, compassion, and unrelenting dedication to the advancement of humanity and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“Today, I celebrate not just a political figure, but someone who is genuinely close to my heart, Chief Benedict Akika.
He is my blood, my brother, and a friend I love so much.
A man who has stood by me through thick and thin, and one I can always count on as a strong and reliable backbone,” the lawmaker stated.
Hon. Babajide Gabriel noted that Akika’s consistent show of love, loyalty, and sacrifice, both in politics and personal relationships, makes him stand out as a man of rare character and grace.
He added that the celebrant’s life is a living testimony of service, love for the people, and unswerving loyalty to the PDP and Governor Seyi Makinde.
