The executive chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Asiwaju Akeem Olatunji, has expressed felicitations to the CEO of Agidigbo FM, Dr Oriyomi Hamzat, and the former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi, on the occasion of their birthday anniversary celebrations.
This was contained in a congratulatory message by Asiwaju Olatunji on Wednesday, March 4.
He praised both men for their immense contributions to the development of Oyo State in their respective fields.
Olatunji lauded Dr Hamzat for his dedication to journalism, media advocacy, and his efforts in using Agidigbo FM as a platform to promote justice, accountability, and good governance.
“Oriyomi Hamzat is a shining light and an exemplary leader in investigative journalism not just in Oyo state but across Nigeria.
“His commitment to truth and justice has earned him the love and respect of the people, especially the voiceless.
“As he marks another year today, I wish him continued success, good health, and prosperity,” Olatunji said.
The Oluyole LG boss also celebrated Barrister Gbolarumi, describing him as a political leader whose influence and service to the PDP and people of Oyo State remain invaluable.
He described Barrister Gbolarumi, who served as the Deputy Governor under Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, as an influential figure in the state’s political landscape.
“He is a leader of great wisdom and vast experience. His dedication to the growth of Oyo State and his mentorship of young politicians are commendable.
“On this special day, I pray for long life, good health, and more achievements for him,” Olatunji added.
