The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has extended warm birthday wishes to the federal lawmaker representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, describing him as a beacon of purposeful leadership and a source of pride to Oyo State.
In a goodwill message released through his head of media, Hon. Olufade lauded the two-term federal legislator and U.S. Navy veteran for his remarkable service in the National Assembly, commending his consistent dedication to grassroots development, empowerment initiatives, and legislative excellence.
“Hon. Abass Agboworin is more than just a representative; he is a true servant-leader whose actions consistently reflect the will and needs of his constituents,” Olufade stated.
The Ibadan North Council boss praised Agboworin’s record of people-oriented interventions across key sectors such as education, youth empowerment, and infrastructure, saying the lawmaker’s efforts have raised the bar for effective representation in the country.
He described the PDP lawmaker, fondly known as the “People’s General,” as a humble, disciplined, and compassionate leader whose influence cuts across political lines and whose public service journey continues to inspire many.
