The Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has extended his sincere appreciation to friends, colleagues, political associates, and well-wishers who celebrated him on the occasion of his birthday yesterday.
In a heartfelt message released and made available to newsmen on Tuesday, by the Head of the Media Unit to the Chairman Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, Hon. Falana expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of love and goodwill messages across the country.
He described the tributes, calls, visits, surprise gifts, surprise shout-outs, and social media mentions as overwhelming. He noted that the show of affection reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment and public service.
> “I am deeply humbled by the kind words, prayers, and thoughtful gestures extended to me on my birthday,” Falana said.
He applauded the father of the youth in Pacesetter State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE, DSc, GSSRS, for allowing him to showcase his leadership potential, thereby transforming the productive youth in the state.
Adebowale further commended the Governor for his passionate advocacy for youth inclusion in governance and entrepreneurship, as well as support for providing a platform that enables young leaders to thrive, stressing that “Your support inspires me to continue working tirelessly toward creating opportunities for young people in Oyo State and beyond.”
The Youth Agency Chairman acknowledged the support of the Commissioners, Board Chairmen, Director-Generals, local government Chairmen, youth groups, staff, and management of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, and several others.
Hon. Falana however, reaffirmed his dedication to the development of youth-centric policies, pledging to continue championing initiatives that will uplift and equip young people with the skills and resources necessary to succeed.
> “This celebration was not just about me—it was about the collective hope we share for a brighter future led by a new generation of empowered youth,” he added.
