In a heartfelt message, Hon. Lanre Sarumi, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the last general election, has extended warm birthday felicitations to two distinguished sons of Oyo State, the Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Barrister Seun Ashamu, and the Ayedero of Yorubaland, Hon. Shina Abiola Peller.
Hon. Lanre Sarumi described both celebrants as exemplary personality and true brothers whose lives and careers have been marked by significant contributions to the progress and development of Oyo State.
Barrister Seun Ashamu, as a key member of Governor Seyi Makinde’s cabinet, has played a pivotal role in the development agenda of the state.
Likewise, Hon. Shina Abiola Peller, the Ayedero of Yorubaland, has consistently shown commitment to the welfare of the people through numerous humanitarian initiatives and youth empowerment programs. His advocacy for peace and prosperity across Yorubaland, alongside his notable service in the National Assembly, continues to resonate with communities within and beyond Oyo State.
Hon. Sarumi also used the occasion to thank both Barr. Ashamu and Hon. Peller for their unwavering support for the progressive leadership of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, Governor of Oyo State. Their alignment with the governor’s vision for a modern and people-centered administration has contributed immensely to the success of the current government.
Describing them as “brothers in the cause of service,” Sarumi prayed for long life, continued prosperity, and all the good things of life for the celebrants.
