The Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political Head/Administrator of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, has joined well-wishers across the country to celebrate the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, as he marks his 81st birthday.
In his heartfelt tribute, Hon. Simple described Baba Ladoja as “an embodiment of patience, service, and greatness.”
He noted that Baba’s life story from a young Ibadan boy, to a student in Belgium, to a businessman, Governor, elder statesman, and now Olubadan-designate is a source of inspiration to every Ibadan indigene.
“Baba is a symbol of hope for those who believe in destiny.
He has shown us that with patience, humility, and service to God and humanity, one will eventually be honoured.
His emergence as the 44th Olubadan is a divine testimony to this truth,” Simple remarked.
He praised Ladoja’s character, particularly his courage in politics, fairness in leadership, and his selfless contributions to Ibadan and Oyo State.
As Baba marks 81 years, Hon. Simple prayed that God will grant him sound health, long life, and the wisdom to steer Ibadanland into unprecedented unity and development.
