The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has joined prominent voices across Oyo State and Nigeria to celebrate the Olubadan-designate, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, as he marks his 81st birthday.
In his congratulary message made available through his head of media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, Hon. Olufade described Oba Ladoja as a man whose life is defined by humility, sacrifice, wisdom, and an uncommon dedication to the service of humanity.
He noted that Baba Ladoja’s political and traditional journeys remain inspiring testaments of patience, resilience, and destiny.
“As a Governor, Baba gave Oyo State a new face of purposeful leadership built on integrity, fairness, and people-oriented policies.
As a statesman, he has mentored countless leaders, including myself, in the art of service and governance.
Today, as the Olubadan-designate, he carries the hopes of Ibadanland into a future of unity and peace,” Olufade said.
The chairman further emphasized that Baba Ladoja’s life demonstrates that true greatness lies in patience, humility, and unshakable faith in God’s will.
He described the celebrant as a bridge-builder who commands respect across party lines, generations, and social classes.
While praying for long life, sound health, and wisdom for the Olubadan-designate, Hon. Olufade expressed confidence that his reign would mark a golden era for Ibadanland.
He assured that Ibadan North Local Government and its people stand firmly in support of the new monarch as he prepares to ascend the throne of his forefathers.
