The Deputy Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire, has commended the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State for the peaceful and transparent conduct of its state congress held at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
Bibire noted that the successful outcome of the congress is yet another proof of the party’s strong internal cohesion and commitment to democracy, stressing that such unity is a result of Governor Seyi Makinde’s exemplary and inclusive leadership.
According to him, the governor has consistently provided the right atmosphere for party members to thrive, making Oyo PDP a shining example to others across the country.
“The peaceful congress we witnessed is a reflection of the discipline, maturity, and unity that Governor Seyi Makinde has entrenched in our party.
His leadership continues to bind us together and position Oyo PDP as a model of true democracy,” Bibire said.
He further congratulated the newly elected executives led by State Chairman, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro, urging them to justify the trust reposed in them by working assiduously to sustain the party’s dominance in Oyo State and strengthen its chances nationally.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the new state executive members. The task ahead is enormous, but with unity and dedication, we will secure greater victories for our party in the years ahead,” he added.
Bibire emphasized that the impressive turnout of leaders, stakeholders, and delegates across the 33 local governments was a clear demonstration of the confidence party members have in the PDP’s leadership and its readiness to continue delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
