The President of the Yoruba Youth Council Worldwide, Aare Alawode Rahmon Akintunde, has warmly welcomed children across Yorubaland and beyond back to school as the new academic session begins.

In his message, Aare Alawode expressed joy at seeing students return to their various schools after the holiday break, emphasizing that education remains the foundation of growth and development for both the individual and society.

He encouraged pupils and students to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to their studies, assuring them that the Yoruba Youth Council will continue to advocate for quality education and youth development.

Aare Alawode also offered prayers for parents, acknowledging the sacrifices they make to ensure their children have access to sound education. “May God continue to provide for our parents, strengthen them with wisdom, and guide them in monitoring their children in the path of knowledge and uprightness,” he said.

He further called on government and stakeholders in the education sector to intensify efforts toward creating a conducive learning environment, where every child, regardless of background, can thrive.

The Yoruba Youth Council Worldwide remains steadfast in its mission to uphold Yoruba values, empower young people, and promote excellence in education.
