The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, has joined millions of mourners to empathize with the Adeojo family over the death of their patriarch.

Ibadan-based politician and founding father of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) died last week Friday at the age of 89.
Adeojo died after a brief illness at his Iyaganku residence in Ibadan last Friday. He has been buried in accordance with Islamic rites

Arapaja in his condolence visit to
Late chief Adeojo’s residence yesterday described the octogenarian’s death as the end of a glorious political era.

According to Arapaja, he lamented that the vacuum created by the death of Alhaji Chief Yekini Adeojo, a great politician and illustrious son of Ibadan, will be difficult to fill considering his capacity, intellect, and wise counsel.

He said the late Adeojo was a politician with the pedigree of loyalty, consistency, and passion for the growth and welfare of humanity and the development of society.
Arapaja urged the children and family to take solace in Allah and keep praying for the departed soul.
Sheriff Adeojo, the Ido council chairman who received the PDP national vice chairman appreciate Ambassador Arapaja and his entourage on behalf of the family and all the positive testimonies about Alhaji Yekini Adeojo, praying that God will hold and protect PDP and those working for the party progress.
