All Local Government Political Functionaries Endorse Engr. Seyi Makinde for President 2027

In what is fast becoming a national movement inspired by exceptional leadership and people-centered governance, all Local Government political functionaries across Oyo State have unanimously endorsed His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, as the best candidate to lead Nigeria in the 2027 presidential election.

At a well-attended meeting held on October 3, 2025, at Okebadan LCDA, the functionaries declared that Governor Makinde has consistently proven himself to be the proverbial light at the end of Nigeria’s tunnel.

They noted that his administration in Oyo State has become a shining model of good governance, effective policy implementation, and leadership with integrity—qualities that Nigeria urgently needs at the national level.

Speakers at the forum emphasized that Engr. Makinde’s leadership has transformed Oyo State from a state once struggling at the margins into a hub of innovation, economic growth, and infrastructural development. They highlighted that his administration’s commitment to education, healthcare, security, and grassroots empowerment has set a new template for governance in Nigeria.

Furthermore, the forum commended the governor’s unique ability to unite people across diverse political, religious, and ethnic lines.

They observed that within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Governor Makinde has demonstrated rare political maturity, bringing together divergent interests into a formidable and harmonious structure—one capable of delivering victory at the presidential level in 2027.

According to the political functionaries, Makinde’s humility, transparency, and incorruptible personality are the exact attributes required to reposition Nigeria for genuine progress.

They declared him not only as Oyo State’s pride but also as Nigeria’s hope for a brighter and more prosperous future.
