The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele (Lajuee) has swore in eleven (11) Supervisors and Special Assistants respectively. The event took place at the Council Headquarters on 23rd July, 2024.
In his keynote address, Hon. Sanda welcomed all to the historical events of the swearing-in of the newly appointed Supervisors and Special Assistants to the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government.
He expressed his appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE for his indefatigable leadership.
The Chairman congratulated the newly appointees. He enjoined to discharge their duties with the fear of God, he also encouraged them to rise up to the challenge ahead of them and support the vision of his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State Engr Seyi Makinde on Omituntun 2.0.
Speaking further, the Executive Chairman reaffirmed his administrative commitment to an open-door policy of administering the Local Government with equity, justice, and fair play in distributing dividends of Democracy to all nooks and crannies of the Local Government.
Similarly, some political appointments were given to some PDP Members Egbeda L/G. Majority leader of the House was given to Hon. David Odegoke Olubunmi (a.k.a Solution). Other posts include Media aids, Security, welfare and mobilisation.
The Vice Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple while speaking with the news men, congratulated the newly political appointees and prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom to discharge their duties as expected.
