Indigenes and residents of Akinyele Local Government have expressed immense gratitude to the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye following the successful rollout of his scholarship initiative, which has seen the first set of beneficiaries receive their admission letters to an higher institution of learning.

This milestone is a testament to Hon. Akinleye’s commitment to enhancing educational opportunities in the community, and it has sparked a wave of optimism among families who have long sought avenues for their children to pursue higher education.

The Akinyele Local Government Chief of Staff, Hon Adeyemi Abideen Aderinwale who represented the Executive Chairman at the event reiterated that The scholarship program, initiated by Hon. Akinleye, aims to alleviate the financial burdens faced by students and their families. It is designed to identify and support talented youths from underprivileged backgrounds, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their academic aspirations. The recent admissions signify not only the success of the program but also the potential for a brighter future for the youth of Akinyele, who are now poised to contribute positively to society.

While addressing the beneficiaries, The Akinyele Local Government Education Ambassador, Chief(Dr) Moshood Abioye appreciated the Executive Chairman of Akinyele LG for embarking on such selfless service which proofs that service to humanity remains the best to his heart.

He stated that more beneficiaries are expected to be part of the golden opportunity as more scholarship forms are still available at the office of the Akinyele LG Chief of Staff. He assured the good people of Akinyele LG that he will continue to strive to ensure that the education sector in Akinyele LG receives a major boost under the leadership of Hon Akinwole Akinleye.

The Akinyele LG Supervisory Councilor for Education admonished the beneficiaries to be of good conduct and make the Local Government proud as they embark on the academic journey.

He advised them to shun social vices and any form of distractions that may hinder them from achieving the main goal in school. He charged them to be good Ambassadors of their family and the entire Akinyele Local Government at large.

Parents express relief at the thought of their children being able to attend college without the overwhelming stress of tuition fees. The initiative has fostered a sense of hope and determination within the community, encouraging more students to strive for academic excellence.
