In a move to uplift the livelihoods of traders and enhance the environmental conditions, Honourable Kehinde Adeyemi Akande, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, engaged in a meeting with the Association of Day Old Chicks in Oluyole Estate.

The meeting, which took place at the association’s market, aimed to discuss the relocation of the market to a new, well-prepared location facilitated by the local government and the Exco’s of Gbekuba Apata, Ibadan.

During the meeting, Honourable Akande emphasized the importance of relocating the market to a more suitable area, highlighting the benefits of improved sanitation, security, and accessibility. He assured the traders that the new location would be equipped with necessary amenities to enhance their businesses.

The association members expressed their gratitude to Honourable Akande for his efforts in addressing their concerns and providing a better environment for their trade.

“We are thankful for the chairman’s support and commitment to our well-being,” said the association’s leader. “We look forward to a successful relocation and continued growth.”

The relocation plan is part of Honourable Akande’s administration’s efforts to upgrade infrastructure and enhance economic activities in Ibadan South West Local Government.

This move underscores Honourable Akande’s tireless dedication to fostering a better quality of life and driving progress for the individuals and communities within his constituency.
