Ibadan South West Local Government Chairman, Honourable Kehinde Akande, has extended warm Ramadan greetings to Muslims in the area. In a statement, Akande wished the Muslim community peace, compassion, and unity throughout the holy month, acknowledging their dedication and strength during this sacred period.

He encouraged residents to come together, support one another, and spread kindness, saying, “In the spirit of solidarity and harmony, let us support and uplift each other, spreading kindness and goodwill throughout our community”. Akande’s message conveyed hopes for a blessed Ramadan, filled with moments of peace, compassion, and unity, and prayed that Muslims’ hearts be uplifted with faith, homes filled with love, and spirits rejuvenated with blessings.
The Chairman’s gesture has been welcomed by the Muslim community, who appreciate his thoughtfulness and commitment to promoting interfaith harmony.
