The Cathedral of St. Peter, Aremo, has appreciated the gesture of the lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin, over the installation of some solar-powered streetlights around the premises of the church.

An appreciation statement signed by the Provost of the Diocese, The Very Revd. Samuel K. Olawoyin, quoted the entire congregation and Standing Committee of the church as saying that Agboworin’s gift was far more than a financial contribution.

He stated further that Agboworin, a two-term lawmaker, has consistently shown deep commitment to the growth and sustainability of the constituency he represents, adding that “this act of kindness once again demonstrates the strength of your devotion.”

According to him, in a time where many shy away from selfless giving, Agboworin’s heart remains open, generous, and attentive to the needs of the church.

He maintained that the light woukd allow the Church to run its operations smoothly and preserve the sanctity of the atmosphere during the gathering of brethren in the presence of the Lord.
