Agboworin’s Empowerment Programme, Makinde Vows To Roll Out Appointments In Few Days

The Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde has assured members of Peoples Democratic Party who worked tirelessly for his success in the 2023 governorship election that new appointment would be rolled out before May 29, 2024.

Governor Makinde, who made the disclosure on Saturday while speaking at the empowerment program organized by the members of House of Representatives, Hon. Abass Agboworin, said that indigenes of Oyo state are going to benefit from his Omituntun 2.0 administration.

According to him, all indigenes of Oyo state should be aware that much appointment has not be done, and as such, within the next few days, appointment would be rolled out.

He urged those who have already been appointed to keep their mouth shut so that others who are yet to be appointed won’t be thinking that they won’t also benefits.

He added that everyone are going to benefit from his government.

While commending Agboworin, representing Ibadan Northeast and Southeast Constituency for the laudable empowerment program, Governor Makinde urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the empowerment grant in a way that will boost their business.

He said: “As you know that we are yet to roll out all our appointment, those who have not been appointed will also be appointed before May 29, 2024.

“While I commend Hon. Abass Agboworin for the laudable initiative, I urge you to make good use of the empowerment program grant in a way that will boost your business.

“This is very important in this economic hardship. Our government will continue to cushion the effect of the subsidy removal.”
