The lawmaker representing Ibadan South East/North East federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Abass A. Adigun (Agboworin), has mourned the passing of a former Akinyele local government chairman in Oyo State, Hon. Taoreed Jimoh Adedigba.
Agboworin, who is a two-term lawmaker, and Chairman, House Committee on Narcotic Drugs, in a condolence statement personally signed, described his death as sad and shocking.
He noted that the deceased would be remembered for his immense contributions towards the development of his local government during his service to the state.
He condoled with the wife and other family members of the deceased, praying to Almighty Allah to accept the deceased’s return, forgive his shortcomings, and grant him a place in Al-Jannah Firdaus.
