The lawmaker representing Ibadan South East/North East in the House of Representatives, Rep. Abass Adigun, popularly known as Agboworin, has rejoiced with the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), His Excellency, Brigadier General Mohammed Buba Marwa (retd) as he celebrates his 72nd birthday anniversary today
Agboworin, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Narcotic Drugs, in a statement signed by his Media Group, on Tuesday, and made available to journalists in Ibadan, commended Marwa for a job well done as the head of the NDLEA.
The lawmaker equally added in the statement that Marwa’s trajectory since his days in the military, and as former governor in Nigeria, has projected him as a true born and charismatic leader.
While saying that Marwa has proven to be a dedicated and committed public servant, Agboworin noted that it is not by mistake that his achievements in the few years speak volumes in the NDLEA.
Agboworin, a two term lawmaker, applauded his laudable achievements and excellent services to fatherland, adding that Marwa has continued to distinguished himself in leadership.
He commended his tenacity towards war against drug abuse and trafficking in Nigeria, with commendable results, adding that Marwa’s dedication to repositioning the NDLEA, sanitizing the streets and re-orienting youths on dangers of substance abuse have been inspiring.
Agboworin, however, wish him long life in sound health and prosperity.
