The House of Representatives member representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, Hon. Agboworin, on Wednesday, donated 25 tricycle wheelchairs and other walking aids to people living with disabilities in the Sabo Community, Ibadan.

The practical gesture from the two-term lawmaker was part of his contribution and support for the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Folakunle Oyekunle, in the bye-election coming up on Saturday, August 16.
This, equally, aligns with his efforts to always render support to the vulnerable groups as a lawmaker who has the interest of every human being at heart regardless of their circumstances.

Addressing the gathering, Agboworin noted the development was borne out of commitment to the party and to boost the chances of the PDP candidate in winning the by-election on Saturday.

“As a party, PDP, we are committed to supporting the people, particularly those we feel are vulnerable, to ensure they live fulfilling lives.
“These wheelchairs, crutches and other walking aids will be useful to those who are physically challenged and enable the beneficiaries engage in productive activities.
“But, in the main, we want you to come out en masse on Saturday to vote for our candidate, DON,” he stated.

The PDP candidate, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, who presented some of the wheelchairs to the beneficiaries, thanked Agboworin for the donation and urged the Sabo Community to show their support by voting for him on Saturday, with a view to representing the constituency in the National Assembly.
“I appreciate Hon. Agboworin for this kind gesture. This shows he is a true party man. I urge you all to support me in this bye-election so that I can represent our constituency effectively in the National Assembly,” he said.
