The lawmaker representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Abass Adigun Agboworin, has joined political associates and well-wishers to celebrate the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message issued on Tuesday by his Media Group, Agboworin described Ogundoyin as a focused and dependable leader whose tenure has contributed to stability, harmony and effectiveness in the legislative arm of government in Oyo State.
He noted that the Speaker’s calm disposition, inclusiveness and firm grasp of legislative responsibilities have continued to earn him respect within and outside the Assembly.
Agboworin further commended Ogundoyin for his commitment to democratic ideals and his support for policies and laws aimed at improving governance and the welfare of the people.
According to him, the Speaker’s leadership has helped strengthen collaboration between the legislature and other arms of government in the overall interest of the state.
The federal lawmaker prayed for good health, renewed strength and greater wisdom for Ogundoyin as he marks another year, expressing confidence that the Speaker will continue to play a key role in advancing good governance and legislative excellence in Oyo State.
