The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun (Agboworin), has extended warm felicitations to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, on the occasion of his 81st birthday anniversary today.
The celebration marks a significant milestone in the life of the revered traditional ruler, who has dedicated decades to service, leadership, and the advancement of Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.
In a press statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mayowa Okekale, Agboworin highlighted Oba Ladoja’s extraordinary journey, emphasizing his embodiment of leadership qualities such as wisdom, humility, and compassion.
“You have lived a life of service, touching countless lives and leaving indelible footprints on the sands of time,” Agboworin stated.
He noted that Oba Ladoja’s ascension to the throne of his forefathers has been characterized by a steadfast commitment to justice, equity, and truth, earning him respect across communities.
Agboworin lauded the monarch’s impactful contributions to education, community development, and the preservation of Ibadan’s rich cultural heritage.
“Under his leadership, Oba Ladoja has been a beacon of hope and a unifying figure for the people of Ibadanland. Your reign and contributions have lifted many and will continue to light the path for generations yet unborn,” Agboworin noted.
While expressing personal gratitude for the values instilled by Oba Ladoja – discipline, honesty, resilience, and love for humanity, Agboworin prayed for the Olubadan’s continued well-being.
