Agboworin Applauds Makinde On Dedication, Commitment To PDP As Gov Commissions PDP South West Office*

Member representing Ibadan South East/North East federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Abass A. Adigun (Agboworin) has commended the Oyo State Governor, His Excellency, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde, for personally building the South-West PDP Zonal Office in Ibadan.

He lauded the essence of the zonal secretariat, which was commissioned today and named after the late former PDP National Vice Chairman (South-West), Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo-Oluwatukesi, and was donated to the party, describing it as a great Labour for the party.

Agboworin gave the commendation on Saturday in a statement signed by his Media Group and made available to journalists, adding that the gesture reflects a great labour, which the governor is expending into the party.

Agboworin equally hailed the commitment of Governor Makinde, noting that his efforts towards the unity and growth of the party is worthy of commendation.

Agboworin, who is a two-term lawmaker and Chairman of House Committee on Narcotics Drugs, noted that the project represents Governor Makinde’s dedication to the transformation of PDP not only in the state but also at the regional and national level.

The statement read, “Today, I want to share in the joy of today’s commissioning of a great edifice, which was personally built by my principal, Engr Seyi Makinde, in Honour of late former PDP National Vice Chairman (South-West), Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo-Oluwatukesi.

“Governor Makinde’s gesture represents unity and growth of the PDP South West and the project is a significant milestone in the annals of the party in Nigeria.

“This initiative is worthy of great commendation being the first and best in the region. I have no doubt that this new party office would enhance the operational efficiency and strengthen its presence in the South West region.”

Agboworin, however, called on the stakeholders and party members to embrace the opportunities the new office presents, and collaboration to further advance the course of the PDP in the Southwest.
