It was a pleasant moment of joy in various public secondary schools across Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency as Hon. Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju distributed instructional materials to all twenty-nine public secondary schools in the two local government areas.

The materials, which included school bags, exercise books and past question booklets, were distributed across public secondary schools in the two local government areas to support academic excellence and improve learning outcomes.
Although all public secondary schools in the federal constituency will be given, a choice of five schools (one per town) was selected for Tuesday’s distribution while the principals of the other schools will be handed the rest for distribution.

The distribution started at Methodist Grammar School, Igboora, where students of the citadel of learning were provided with thousands of 80- and 60-leaf exercise books, school bags and past questions for students in the science, arts and commercial departments.

Addressing the students, Hon. Adepoju enjoined them to make judicious use of the materials, disclosing that millions of naira were invested in the project to ensure they are properly educated.
The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character expressed his optimism about producing the best student in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) from the constituency this year, as well as outstanding performances in WAEC and NECO, with the aid of the past questions and writing materials distributed.
The lawmaker also stated that various schools were selected in each community to commence the distribution of the materials, assuring other public secondary schools in the constituency of the delivery of their materials.
The other schools selected for the flag-off of the distribution on Tuesday included Ayelogun Grammar School, Idere, Ayete Grammar School, Ayete, Maku Grammar School, Tapa and Adegun Asake High School, Igangan.
The lawmaker encouraged the students in each school to take their studies seriously, noting that it is through proper education that Ibarapa can attain greatness.
He celebrated teachers and parents for their support for the Engr. Seyi Makinde-led administration, stating that with their continued support, Omituntun 3.0 is sacrosanct.
