Afonja congratulates Ogunlade on election victory, commends Makinde, OYSIEC
Former Oyo State Commissioner for Works and Transport and a Chieftain in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Prof. AbdulRahman Rapheal Afonja has extended his congratulations to Hon. George Ogunlade and Salawu Adigun on their landslide victory in the Local Government elections held on Saturday 27th April.
The election results, which saw George Ogunlade and Salawu Adigun emerge victorious as Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively under the PDP banner, were met with jubilation and celebration across Ogbomoso North.
In his congratulatory message, Prof. AbdulRahman Afonja expressed his joy in Hon. George Ogunlade’s successful election campaign. He praised Ogunlade’s dedication, vision, and commitment to serving the people of Ogbomoso North with integrity and excellence.

He praised the commission’s professionalism, transparency, and adherence to electoral guidelines, which contributed to the success of the elections in Ogbomoso North and across the state.
