As the clock ticks away to usher in a brand new year, the Chairman of Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has expressed a heartfelt message of hope and transformation for the Pacesetter State Youth.

In a New Year statement released by the head of the media unit to the Chairman, Opeyemi Rasheed Olawale, Adebowale urged the youths in the state to embrace change and drive progress in their various communities.

He acknowledged that the youths are the heartbeat of society, praising their energy and creativity, and aims to continue to inspire efforts to build a brighter future together.

He, however, emphasized the importance of being agents of positive change stressing that they have the power to shadow the future of Pacesetter State based on the legacy of His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE

He stressed that the sustainable development administration of the Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Governor’s Forum, Engr Seyi Makinde, focused more on youth empowerment, vocational training skills, and digital marketing by involving them more in the decision-making process.

Adebowale further encouraged youth to take advantage of opportunities available to them, such as digital revolution training, in-school training, skills acquisition, and entrepreneurship programs, while giving assurance that the agency would continue to supply and empower them to achieve their goals.

According to him; “My advice for youths is to renew their hope in Pacesetter State and Nigeria at large in the coming years and see themselves as major actors and not spectators to drive change at the grassroots.”

He urged them to be modest and to use social media energy to drive change at the grassroots and their communities at large.

He concluded by wishing all great and productive Youths a prosperous new year 2025 endowed with opportunities, unlimited progress, and breakthroughs.
