A Note of Sincere Appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Nigeria

It is with a deep sense of responsibility and a heart full of gratitude, that I write to thank God Almighty for making it possible for me to reach this level, my special thanks and sincere appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde for finding me worthy of this appointment.

Your Excellency Sir, it was with pleasant surprise and a deep sense of excitement that I received the news of my appointment as Board Member of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Agency.

Surprise because I least expected the appointment and excited at the rare privilege becoming an aide to a dynamic and forward looking state governor as your esteemed.

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, while I was in class teaching postgraduate students a course on “SCI 801: Advanced Management and Entrepreneurship”, I received the announcement of my appointment as a member of the highly sensitive agency of the government whose primary of objective is to ensure the effective management of the state’s God endowed natural resources and maintaining a splendid revenue to state coffers.

Your Excellency’s kind and fatherly gesture for appointing me will no doubt provide of a soothing relief to many young ones that truly, you belong to everybody and belong to nobody.

Your Excellency, Sir, you have personally put a seal of success on the lives of many pacesetter’s indigenes, particularly those from us from the younger generation, who constitute the immediate teeming demography and the general population of Oyo State.

Sir, permit me to also extend my heartfelt gratitude to my leader, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, my family, friends, political associates, members of the various organizations and well wishes for the congratulatory calls, messages, and visits, right from the time I was announced as your government appointee and a warm regard to the Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Hon. Akeem Olatunji. I equally salute the my agency Chairman whom I will collaborate with in achieving the goals and objectives of the Board, Hon. Abiodun Oni and other members.

While I would not take the opportunity for granted, I promise to discharge my duties ethically and professionally towards making the Oyo State our dream, so help me God.
