The Chairman of the Oyo State Park Management System (PMS), Alhaji Abdulwasiu Tomiwa Omolewa (Alhaji Tommy), wishes to categorically debunk and disown the baseless and malicious reports circulating in certain quarters, falsely attributing support from the PMS to Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat’s purported Declaration of Interest on January 17, 2027, at Liberty Stadium, Ibadan.

These fabricated narratives, which claim that the PMS Chairman has reaffirmed “unflinching support” for Dr. Hamzat and the so-called “Oyo Npè Ọ” movement, are nothing short of a desperate political stunt designed to mislead the public, sow discord, and drag the reputable PMS into partisan mischief.

At no point has the PMS or its leadership issued any statement of endorsement or support for Dr. Hamzat’s ambitions or any associated movement. Such claims are outright lies, engineered by mischief-makers to exploit the PMS’s name for selfish political gains.

Let it be unequivocally stated: The entire Oyo State PMS stands solidly and exclusively with His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State. Our loyalty to Governor Makinde is unshakeable, unending, and rooted in the transformative reforms he has brought to the transportation sector.

Under Governor Makinde’s visionary leadership, the chaotic era of unregulated transport workers has been replaced with a structured, professional, and accountable Park Management System.

This reform has not only restored order and dignity to our members but has also enhanced safety, efficiency, and economic opportunities for thousands of transport operators across the state.

For these monumental achievements, the PMS will forever remain grateful to Governor Makinde, and our commitment to his administration’s success knows no bounds.

We hereby sternly caution Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat and the “Oyo Npè Ọ” movement to immediately cease and desist from involving the PMS in their political theatrics. Any further malicious misrepresentation of the PMS’s position, or attempts to falsely align us with their agenda, will be met with the full weight of legal and public repudiation. The PMS is not a tool for political opportunism; we are a professional body dedicated to serving the people of Oyo State under the guidance of our duly elected governor.

The PMS urges all members, transport operators, and the general public to disregard these fake reports and continue their lawful activities without fear. We remain committed to ensuring seamless, peaceful, and unrestricted transportation services across Oyo State, in full alignment with Governor Makinde’s agenda for progress and unity.

Signed,

Alhaji Abdulwasiu Tomiwa Omolewa (Alhaji Tommy)

Chairman, Oyo State Park Management System (PMS)
