On the auspicious occasion of Children’s Day, Hon. Falana Adebowale Adebayo, the Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, extended heartfelt wishes to the children and youth of Oyo State, underscoring the critical importance of nurturing the younger generation for the future prosperity of the community and the nation.

In a statement released by the Board Chairman aide on digital communication Opeyemi Rasheed, Hon. Adebowale highlighted the essential role children play in the development of society.

“Children’s Day is a reminder of the bright futures and boundless possibilities that each child holds. Our children are the heartbeat of our community and the promise of a better tomorrow,” he stated. He emphasized the collective responsibility to create a supportive and enriching environment where every child can thrive.

Hon. Adebayo reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing the welfare and development of children in Oyo State. “Our agency is dedicated to ensuring that every child has access to quality education, healthcare, and recreational facilities. We are focused on creating policies and programs that address the needs of our youth, providing them with the tools they need to succeed,” he declared.

Reflecting on the recent global challenges, particularly the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education and social activities, Hon. Adebayo acknowledged the resilience and adaptability of children and their families. He assured the community of his continued efforts to address these issues.

“We understand the hardships that many families have faced, and we are committed to mitigating these challenges. Our focus remains on creating opportunities and support systems that enable every child to achieve their full potential,” he remarked.

Hon. Adebayo also highlighted various initiatives undertaken by the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, including the introduction of skill acquisition programs, scholarships, and health campaigns aimed at improving the overall well-being of the youth. “Our programs are designed to empower the youth, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in various fields. We believe in fostering an environment that encourages innovation, leadership, and community service among our young people,” he added.

In his message to the children, Hon. Adebayo inspired them to dream big and pursue their goals with determination and integrity. “To all the children, I encourage you to dream without limits, stay curious, and always strive for excellence.

Your potential is limitless, and with hard work and a kind heart, there is nothing you cannot achieve. Happy Children’s Day to every one of you!” he concluded.
